We are a Memphis, TN based doula collective for families and industry professionals. Our intention is to provide parents with the education and resources they need to make confident decisions for themselves and their family. At Naturally Nurtured Birth Services, we provide professional support during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. We recognize the importance of welcoming a new baby and want to help make the experience as positive as possible. We are trained to provide you with the care you need and the confidence you deserve. We realize the differences in expectations, which is why we support all types of childbirth and parenting scenarios. This includes natural births, epidurals, cesarean births, multiples, NICU stays, breastfeeding, chestfeeding, induced lactation, bottle feeding, high-risk pregnancies, hospital, birth center and home births.

Naturally Nurtured Birth Services offers customized care and support through pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood. Whether you are a new parent or pro parent, our experienced, reliable, compassionate doulas provide unbiased support and evidence-based education to you and your family. In addition to our professional doula support services, we offer prenatal yoga, group healing care, lactation support and counseling, placenta encapsulation, 1 on 1 classes, birth pool rental, belly binding, early gender testing and more! Shanille accommodated my needs very well and supported me through my post partum period. She has a special touch with babies and could calm my baby down instantly. Having a doula when my family was far away due to the pandemic definitely enabled us, first time parents. Her tips on breast feeding were very helpful and so was her help with getting our baby to accept a bottle (Saved us from so much pain). My husband and I had a very positive experience and will recommend Shanille !!
If you need a doula, look no further than Naturally Nurtured! I have had the best experience with my doula, Abeni. She was with me prior to my birthing experience, during my birthing experience, and is also my postpartum doula. She is the best! I have been so supported by her every step of the way! This was my very first birth and I would not have been able to birth my daughter naturally with her and my midwives during my very lengthy laboring process without her. She was and is truly amazing!!!
I could not be happier with my choice to hire Rhonda as my doula! I knew from the moment we had our first call that she loved her family and loved supporting other women in their pregnancy journey! She was so calm, welcoming, yet empowering and she was everything I needed and more! Rhonda knew exactly how to read the room the day of delivery and with strength and gentleness navigated the day with me. I love how she coached not only me, but my husband as well and created such a beautiful birthing experience that we will cherish forever. What We Don't Provide
We are not midwives. We do not perform clinical tasks, such as fetal heart checks, vaginal exams, etc. We are here to provide physical, educational and emotional support. We do not deliver babies, although we are more than happy to provide referrals to clients who seek the care of a midwife. Because comfort is a big part of our job, Doulas are there to cater to your spirit, heart, mind, and soul (sometimes your back, neck and shoulders too).
