Dr. Uniqua Cheairs, DNP, APRN, CNM, is a compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife at Regional One Health, dedicated to serving as a caring provider for the Healthy Start Program. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.

As a provider, Uniqua is deeply committed to offering warm, inclusive, and empathetic care to each patient she has the privilege to serve. She recognizes the inherent uniqueness of every individual and believes in treating not just symptoms, but the person as a whole. Uniqua genuinely delights in forming meaningful relationships with her patients, knowing that understanding their stories helps her provide the compassionate support they need during their journeys. She sincerely values family and works to create a welcoming, comforting environment that embraces loved ones. As a dedicated advocate, she passionately encourages self-advocacy and emphasizes empowering patients through education with kindness.

Outside of her professional role, she is a loving mother who finds joy in volunteering at her daughter’s school as a grade representative. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with friends, watching game shows, spending precious moments with her family, and giving back to the community. She proudly belongs to the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Junior League of Memphis.
