I am a Memphis, TN based birth doula who is willing to travel to surrounding areas to service you. I completed doula training with DONA International.

I am eager and excited to help coach you into bringing your little bundle or bundles of joy into the world. I see birth as a beautiful and joyous process where birthing people should be coached, nurtured, and provided the utmost grace and care. Birth changes the life of a child, the birthing person, and family and I feel it is my job to provide physical, mental, and emotional support where needed before, during, and shortly after your labor is complete!

I am a 33 years old mother to a 12 year old son. I am also an Iyanifa (an ordained and initiated Ifa Priestess. Ifa is a West Afrikan Traditional Religion). I respect and will accept clients regardless of your religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, political stance, and other ideologies that you feel will make it difficult to coexist. My personal philosophy is that a functioning and moving society needs differences, understanding, respect and peace. Therefore, your differences will not be an issue for me because I am a free spirited person with unorthodox religious ideologies myself. Therefore, I should walk what I talk and service clients regardless of differences. 

 

I also consider myself an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community where I am not afraid to speak up for such issues as misgendering, discrimination, and hateful commentary made. I am also a frequent supporter and advocate for the continuation of the Queer arts.
