Hello, I'm Airreal.
Airreal Pegues, MS
Birth and Postpartum Doula
I am an alumnus of LeMoyne Owen College and Grand Canyon University. I am currently working on my second master’s degree in order to satisfy state licensure requirements for counseling in Tennessee and Mississippi. I am a master’s level clinical mental health therapist serving underserved populations in the Midsouth. I enjoy assisting people in finding healing through trauma and crisis.
I received my formal doula certification from Blooming Lotus Birthing Services in Labor and Postpartum
support. My philosophy is that birth should be a beautiful experience rather than a scary one. I trained to become a doula after a traumatic pregnancy experience which resulted in an emergency surgery and an unfortunate loss. In that moment, I knew I was called to turn my pain into purpose through advocating for other women in their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
I offer a warm experience through being a nurturer at heart. I have contagious energy in spreading joy, love, and peace. My stance in health is based on a holistic approach of mind, body, and soul alignment. Since I have been able to talk, I have served and been an advocate for others in finding their voice. I am CPR certified, Basic Life Support certified, and am certified in Narcan administration.
Outside of doula work and therapy, you can find me posting reels about my handmade candle making craft, Mahogany Therapy. It is my goal to meet new and expecting mother’s where they are and extending an invitation to an experience of light and warmth.
